However if your radar uses a USB-C a standard USB-A to USB-C adapter could be used. Regarding RJ11, yes my two prior radar detectors (older models) used RJ11. Most have switched power to this area, but some do have constant power, potentially enabling you to monitor your car while parked. I'm not familiar with Mac but on a PC, you simply take the memory card from the dash cam and connect it to your PC, so I'm assuming the process is similar if not identical for Mac (and if your computer does not have a memory card reader, there are some affordable USB card readers out there), Cheers!

Hi David! Unfortunately, the Akeeyo does not support conversion to a direct mount style. Regarding the front camera, yes, technically, it is possible to install it in a different location (with some cases requiring the cables to be extended by the installer). Cheers!

Hi Ava! Loop recording records continuously (segmenting the video into clips) until the memory is full. Once the memory car is full, the video beings to be overwritten starting with the oldest clip ensuring you have fresh video available while overwriting old video, Cheers!

Ah yes good input, I think didn't expand on that subject as much as I should, I mention park mode potentially not being used if the car is garaged because this is a common practice a lot of my viewers do to reduce battery drain (from a hardwire kit) when their car is parked in their garage. Now, I do also have another number viewers who leave their park mode on all the time (even when on a secured area), so probably some level of preference here but I agree, highest probability of danger is when car is exposed in an unsecured location. Hi Ken! Yes, you can power both at the same time. The screen will actually show both the 5V and 12V output and their corresponding amp consumption for each when 2 devices are connected at the same time, Cheers!

Hi P! The Amp rating of the fuse for the hardwire kit is determined by the hardwire kit being used (some kits have higher Amp requirements and some have lower amp draw). Hi Casey! When correctly hardwired the dash cam will turn off and enter park mode (if enabled in the dash cam's setting) when the car is off. I would have the installer check all the connections (ACC, BATT & GND) to confirm that they connected to the correct locations for ACC and BATT (I seen cases where the dash cam stays on constantly if ACC and BATT are reversed or connected to the incorrect locations that does not provide power at the correct time for both ACC and BATT) Here is my follow up detailed hardwire install if you want to see that process ruclips.net/video/K2iKXj82354/видео.html Cheers!

Hi M! Yep! on some hardwire kits ACC is yellow and BAT is red and in others BAT is yellow and ACC is red. Just seems to vary from brand to brand (you think by now the colors would be standardized on a document like the SAE standards we have for other vehicle related equipment) So I always check the hardwire kit instructions to confirm which color is being used for ACC and BAT. Hi Rick! That is very strange, you must have a very early G840H, I reviewed V1 and it does have screw holes. Here is the review for it where you can see them ruclips.net/video/qSRS6dXi85M/видео.html If you indeed have a G840H without holes, that is a very rare dash cam, probably would hold on to it, same as the G850 V1 that I showed here ruclips.net/video/-ij02UzQWO0/видео.html only me and one other viewer have a G850 V1 so you may be sitting on a rarity, very neat, Cheers!
